There are 5 key bits of information on the side wall of your tyre that are used to identify the correct tyre for your vehicle. They are width, diameter, load index, speed rating and profile also known as Aspect Ratio.
Aspect ratio is the relationship of the width of a tyre to it's height. For example, a tyre with a profile/aspect ratio of 65, is a tyre whose height is equal to 65% of its width. low profile tyres have lower profile/aspect ratio numbers.
Aspect Ratio (%) = Section height (H) / Tyre Width (W) X 100
